Joanna Gabler is a visual artist based in North Adams, Massachusetts. For more than three decades she has explored the expressive and transformative possibilities of color, from luminous photographic Transcapes of rivers, fire, and blossoms to abstract oil paintings inspired by meditation, flower portraits, and recent acrylic work. Her paintings and photographs have been shown across the Berkshires, Vermont, and New York, and are held in private collections in the United States and Europe.
